Irene May Gilbert

A Japanese form pink peony with yellow staminodes. Although not formally registered it is highly praised and won three ribbons at the CPS convention show in 2010. A Canadian bred peony that would be a welcomed addition in any garden.

Joseph Rock; P. rockii

A collectors tree peony with large pure white blooms with dark purple flares in the centre. It has gold stamens in the center and is truly striking. This strong growing plant reaching at least 5 feet here. It is fragrant and an excellent garden plant. Hazel’s favourite tree peony. These are our own propagations and very few are available.

Joseph Rock Double; P. rockii double

The same pure white with dark purple flares as Joseph Rock variety but many more petals. A strong vigorous plant but it often takes several years before it produces the double form of flowers. Fragrant. Very limited availability.

Pastel Splendor
